Can anyone recommend a USB dongle that is compatable with the latest version of the Raspien Stretch kernal
I have tried a Bros trend dongle but the driver wont install
What kind of dongle are you after? WiFi? DVB? Bluetooth?
Latest Raspbian is using Buster rather than Stretch i believe.
I am after wifi as the current kernal in buster does not support the on board wifi drive to hotspot mode/access point mode
Since you are running Raspbian you’d maybe be better off asking on the Raspberry Pi forums.
