Use Y cable for solving power problem

I have Vero 4k and an external HDD(1TB).

Because of power issue, I would like to use Y cable but I just want to put 2 usb sides(data, power) in Vero 4k both. (I don’t want to use another power adapter for the external HDD)

Is this okay to have enough power to the external HDD?

No, because it will still be drawing power from the Vero. You need a separate power supply. Or just get a powered USB hub instead as that will allow you to add more drives in the future.
