Using LINUX to install OSMC on microSD card

Trying to put a new downloaded OSMC installation for my existing Vero on to a MicroSD card using my desktop computer which uses the MXLinux Operating System but cannot fathom out the correct way to get the files onto the microSD card.

Can anyone provide a quick “How To” to assist me please?

Thanks for that RJ45. I would never have thought of looking on that website for information relating to OSMC Vero issues. Got the image on to the microSD card. Now installing on the Vero which seems ok but the Update is taking a long time. Guess I just have to be patient!
