VERO 4K Bluetooth sound issues

Dear Developers,

I would like to ask if anyone has successfully managed to get the sound played through Bluetooth speakers / headphones instead of the HDMI output.

Thus far I was able to make my Bluetooth headphones connect to VERO 4k, however the icon was always red (not sure what that means) and under Kodi I was not able to select them as the sound output device.

If anyone could advise on how to do that I would greatly appreciate it.

I wish you all a pleasant day and happy holidays.

With kind regards,

J

If you have not upgraded to debian stretch, it should work using this: [Deprecated] [TESTING] Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP)

If you enable the jessie-devel repository, you must not do an update with MyOSMC or issue apt-get dist-upgrade since BT audio does not work with the latest (testing) debian.

Edit: What I mean is you should be able to issue sudo apt-get install a2dp-app-osmc and get some BT functionality without upgrading to stretch. If you are not in a hurry, wait for the next release of OSMC.
