Vero 4K crashing when opening picture folder

Since upgrading to the latest Leia update (18rc3 I believe) any time i open a folder with a 100 or more jpgs (they may be high res 2160), my Vero 4K starts to load the small thumbnails of the photos but then will almost immediately lockup, and go to the blue frown face and restart. I have been unable to open really any photo folders unless they have under 10 or 20 pics since the update.

I did a fresh reinstall of the Vero 4K as I had some weirdness around the box in general. Since doing that everything is working much better but I am still seeing these weird photo crashing.

This a known bug right now? In advanced settings, I have ImageRes set to 1080, and UI res is set to 1080 (even though I am on a 4K TV).

to get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
reboot the OSMC device
reproduce the issue
upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

the logs were uploaded after the lockup and reboot @ upequjigaz for the code.

Not sure if after the reboot it sends the old logs or only the new ones after the reboot?

We need complete logs, not just parts. Please follow the linked instruction to post complete logs.

Was the paste upload not all the logs? it said it was… I know what I posted here was just a small section because I didn’t know if the “all the logs” actually uploaded the pre-lockup adn crash logs that are moved to .old ?

Can you clarify?

The vero4k is running out of memory, but its hard to tell why; as the log provided is not complete.

Hmm, is there some other way I should be running the log collection? I ran it via the guide above (the GUI). Happy to get more info for you!
