Hi. I’m writing on another user’s behalf.
Vero freezes whenever he resumes playing a video from time X. His external hdd’s file system is hfs+ & volume size is 5tb.
Assuming he can provide logs via grab-logs -A, do I need to ask him to enable debug logging first, then reproduce error, then grab-logs -A?
I suggest to use the following procedure:
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
-
reproduce the issue
-
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh
method invoking command grab-logs -A
-
provide the URL from the log set upload

Sorry. User deemed it too hassle to upload logs via SSH. Helped him revert back to 2020.06-1 and looks like it fixed the issue.
