Good to hear it is working.
But that is really strange because if the trunking is done properly it should not lead to such issues.
Does your router contain a managed switch with link aggregation configured for those two ports? Most home users would not have this class of hardware and would not be able to utilize that feature from their NAS, and in fact, it would be expected to cause communication failure with both cables plugged into an unmanaged switch.
Hi, yes I have an Asus RT-88U router with this function on port 1 & 2. Hard to make mistake as I can only enable or disable this option.
Anyway, this is probably an overkill for a home storage solution, so hopefully I won’t miss it.
Now as my Vero syncing with the SQL database, is there any clone function when I get my second vero, to get exactly the same settings, skin, etc on it, without playing around another few hours or days to do the same configuration?
Thanks guys!
You can use the backup function in My OSMC (or alternatively the Backup add-on from Kodi’s repository) and then restore it on the new machine with the same. You can also manually copy the userdata from the configured machine over to any other Kodi install you have, including other platforms. If you installed the SMB server from the app store in My OSMC you could use a PC to transfer this information as well. This is how I normally do it.
Thank you, will give it a try!
