Can I cover the front LED?
It is too bright, the strong blue light makes it difficult to focus on the movie.
Won’t it disturb the remote controller if I cover it?
(Anyway, it has no use to have a strong light on the front because the device is designed as “always on”.)

The remote that comes with OSMC is 2.4GHz so would not need the IR.
So unless you use a IR Remote no problem. And even then unless you cover too much it should not be a problem and you actually could use the IR extender
