Vero 4K Hangs up when USB Dac plugged in

Hello.

When plugging in my USB Dac (Schiit Modi Multibit), Vero 4K almost immediately hangs up. When plugging in another USB Dac (JDS Labs OL DAC) there are no problems and everything works as it should.

Is there still a problem if you shut down the Vero before connecting the DAC? Spikes in power demands by connecting some USB peripherals can cause a crash.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, same behavior whether hot-plugged or plugged in before the Vero is switched on.

Edit: Additionally, both these DACs use external 15V adapters so I’m guessing they get all the power they need from those.

You’re on a very old version of OSMC. I’d suggest upgrading to the latest version.

Yes, I put off upgrading because my favourite skin never got ported :laughing:

I might just have to bite the bullet and give it a try. If I have the same problem I’ll report back.
