It’s going to take me days to figure out how to do this iperf thing, sorry. I can’t even get it on windows at the moment.
This is all very frustrating, as all these files were working a couple of months ago. Don’t think I changed anything.
Well powerline throughput can change by the minute
I think I’ve found a temporary workaround…it turns out that there were alot of 3 point plugs plugged into an adapter running off the same plug socket as the powerline. This was creating alot of noise on the same circuit I think. Taking a couple out has improved the network bandwidth to a point where the heavy content is now playing. I think it’s probably just about enough throughput for 4k 7.1 true HD stuff to play ok from my drive.
