Vero 4k stays in "energy save" mode

my Vero 4k+ often doesn’t get out of the “Energy save” state and the screen stays very dark and the brightness is very low. The only way to solve it is to restart. How do I fix this?

Well “energy save” mode switches off the HDMI signal so if your screen “stays very dark” it is not in energy save mode but in “dim” state.

Are you on the latest update? Maybe try to disable the screensaver, see this thread

There was a patch to lessen the chances of it happening, but it does still happen for some. If it is frequent for you then there may be something particular with some add-on or some way your interacting with your system that may be making it more likely to occur for you. I forget the exact details but I think it had something to do with the skin reloading while the screensaver was active which for some reason was sometimes making the screensaver wake up command not work.
