There’s no overlay on the Pioneer receiver. All I have to go by is the front panel. Kodi shows the expected audio track.

Likewise, my Denon shows 3/2/0.1 on the front panel when I cycle through with the status button it has.

The display might say DTS-MA HD but if I check the status it will show me the actual channels.

Update on my system.

Since I am planning on a Atmos upgrade, I replaced my Anthem D2V in my system with a Marantz 8805 processor.

Everything is working perfectly now and I do not have any problems bitstreaming now. I have tried multiple files with DTS-X or Atmos and everything works with no noise at all.
