Vero 4k+ Update issue

I have a Vero 4k+ and until Nov2020 all updates were installed via GUI and without any problem. Got a notification and could install it.

Since then, no new update got offered, so I tried through SSH.
In fact updates got downloaded and installed (as far as I can see it as a newbie), but the screen shows still November 2020 status. I couldn’t identify any error in the update process via Terminal.

Things I have done:

  • Rebooted couple of times after install
  • Used sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Where can the issue be? I use a Pi Hole, but couldn’t see any block, but have also disabled it during the update process.

System Info gives me: Version: OSMC running kodi 18.9 & Komplet: 2020-11-27

Hi,

The last OSMC update was Nov2020, which include kodi 18.9. There will be a new update shortly which will be with Kodi 19.

The updates you have installed are the underlying OS (debian).

This is to expected.

Thanks for the information! Good to know, then I will just wait and update trough the GUI as soon as I get a notification. :slight_smile:

Same issue here. Should my Vero4k+ not Install the August 2021 update with KODI19 now?

There is NO issue in this thread. V19 was not yet released when this post was made so you can’t possibly have the same issue. Please open an appropriately titled thread of your own with some useful info if you’d like to receive support.
