Vero 4K update

Hi, I understand this device is unsupported now and I will purchase a V when finances are OK but I just noticed an update and haven’t been able to see any information about this. I thought these devices would not get further updates? (I am not at all complaining, I do appreciate it and I have had my monies worth!)

It might be helpful if you told us the current version of OSMC you have on that and more information on the update you are seeing. It could just be you’re seeing “the last” update available for the Vero 4K+ branch and you just noticed it, but it’s hard to tell with the information you’ve provided.

I updated to what was said to be the last supported version at the time of the update. I do not know the details of the recent update that is what prompted me to make this post. I do not appreciate your tone and I will wait for someone who knows what they are are talking about -ie Sam, to reply.

You’re reading a “tone” that isn’t there. Personally I think it is you being quite rude to a very valued member of team Kodi as well as a valued member of our forum. The fact is that there really is no way to know what exactly it is what you installed without more information. I’d suggest to upload a log set and post the url in this thread at which point someone can tell you definitively what you installed. You would just need to tell it to upload, no need for any Kodi debug stuff first as it wouldn’t be relevant in this case…

There is a final update to fix a seeking issue. This has been released. There will be a final image in due course as I plan to release a final image leaving users in a good working state that they can install directly

You should apologise to @pkscout. He has simply asked which version of OSMC you are on and I would also be curious to make sure you received the latest update
