When I select the video to start, the Vero reboots (no sad face, or any other message). This seems to only happen with one tv series, any episode. I don’t know if there are other videos that will do the same. But I do know several other videos do play properly.
I have uploaded the logs https://paste.osmc.tv/ifedodikuk
(I also just had another glitch which seemed to be related to CEC. The video was playing, then it froze, and then the network connection to it dropped. I needed to unplug power to the Vero 5 at that point. I did see in the kodi.old.log that it went into CEC standby mode. I don’t think this is related to the above issue, although I have been having CEC issues with the Vero 5.)
Any help appreciated.
TIA

What is the name of the file you are trying to play?
“slow.horses.s01eXX”, where XX is for any episode 1 - 6.
I have been able to start any of them a couple of times (2 out about 10). I also can play them on Android with no problems.
I can post the mediainfo in the morning, but I really didn’t notice anything odd about the file.

Hi Ken
It’s late here but unless I’m missing anything obvious, I can’t even see a reference to that file in your original log, so hard to advise why it will not play.
Sam
One reason for that is that the log file was not flushed to disk before rebooting, ie, it might have been a hard reset.

OK. Problem solved (hopefully).
Turns out to be a problem with the power supply. Switched to a different one, and now the videos all play. Don’t understand why that problem happened with only a few videos (all made by the same process, probably), and not any others.
Just FYI: when the Vero would reboot, there were still open files (log files) that didn’t get flushed to disk.
As always, thanks Sam.
