Vero 5, remote stopped working

Hi everyone,

I’ve seen other posts about Vero 5 remotes suddenly stopping working, and I think I’m experiencing the same issue. My remote just stopped working out of the blue. I thought the battery had died, so I replaced it, but even though I can see the blue light flashing, the remote still doesn’t work.

Before I try reinstalling, I have two questions:

  1. To re-pair the remote, do you need to hold down Home and OK while restarting OSMC?
    I’ve tried looking for other ways to reconnect, but under Peripherals, only the CEC device is shown with no “Add” option. And under Bluetooth in the network settings, the remote doesn’t show up when searching and the remote is in pairing mode.

  2. Where in the log (https://paste.osmc.tv/ebibupulet) would you go about checking if the remote is already connected?

Always better to get a full debug log, but I’d suggest contacting support@osmc.tv
