I tried to run “Hyperion” on the Vero and can’t get it to work.
RC2 is installed.
I got the following error:
/usr/bin/hyperiond: error while loading shared libraries: libbcm_host.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I found instructions in another thread
If you did not understand sam you just need to add the following line in you config.txt file
But the Vero doesn’t use the config.txt according to this post:
Vero doesn’t use /boot/config.txt, so it doesn’t have this configure tool
The issue with setting display modes has been fixed and is waiting for approval from the QA team. it will likely be pushed as an update out by 21.00 GMT.
Thanks, and sorry to hear about this issue.
Anybody knows how to get hyperion running on vero?
This is a broadcom library and you’ve likely tried a binary built for Pi2. If you can give me more info about how you to plan to run your setup (I know little about hyperion, and did not know it ran via USB), then I can help you out
