Vero tv crashing after update maybe because no space please help

Hey all,

I clicked on my manual update button on my vero tv today and ever since it has kept giving me the unhappy box and resetting. im normally used to the pi where i would just re do a new sd card install but with the vero tv i have no clue what to do. i used ssh to connect to it and I see there is no space on device so im guessing a ran out during update if thats possible?

thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, definetly you run out of space

This indicate 0% available on root. Guess you urgently need to clean up before you damage files.
Did you put any media files on your root disk? If so delete them.
Other wise as a quick fix delete the files in /home/osmc/.kodi/temp/

Or you can run “sudo apt-get autoremove” to clean old packages

Yey, you legend, thanks I’m back up and running.

I looked around for a while and thought I figured out it was space related but I was trying to use the command rm with the movies I have but that wouldn’t work.

I’m not good with all the command stuff as u prob noticed.

Thanks again.

@matty, not sure if you are now out of the woods. How much space do you have now free on root? With an 8GB card you should not run out of space unless you have media files on there
