My Vero V can’t keep the right clock time after any reboot or power loss. Seems to loose timezone too for whatever reason which requires manually setting in the OSMC UI every reboot (even after NTP fixes the time).
I imagine this is because the clock battery somehow died even though the device isn’t that old. How can I replace it?

The Vero V doesn’t feature an internal RTC. So time is not kept after turning off the device.
It will keep the time from when the device shuts down gracefully however and resume from that from there.
Shouldn’t be an issue unless you don’t have prolonged internet access.
Make sure you set the time zone in Kodi. After the last Kodi update there are cases where it needs to manually be reset.

OK, seems to be working as intended now. I think my confusion was why it stopped working (latest Kodi update reset things) and how to fix (change in UI, which I had a heck of a time finding, not CLI).
Thanks.
My Vero 4k+ is having the time problem.
I am in Ontario Canada but my time is now 4 hours ahead - at UTC
I fixed it by going into regional settings and set it manually
