Firstly the romote controller is working wierd, often Vero doesn’t register it’s input when button is pressed (you have to press it again). But it’s not the main issue, what bother’s me is crashes. Recently had few crashes just navigating the menus. Twice it happend when was trying to access “Settings>System>Input>Peripherals”. These crashes looks random and i have no idea how to replicate them because sometimes Vero works fine for days without crashes.
Any ideas where could be the problem?
Your log shows that Kodi crashed with sigbus – could be an add-on issue. I can see that the most recent action was also to try and play Oblivion (2013).
It’s possible a debug log would give some more clues
but thats very strange, because i could swear that it crashed while no movie was playing. Actualy it never crashed while playing, just when navigating through menu.
And i doubt that this could be a plugin issue because none were installed after recieveing the device. The only thing that was installed is music player visualisations, but those were uninstalled long ago.
Ok then I will enable debug logging and wait for another crash and then try to upload the log.
Welp it happened again. This time i changed the skin to Estuary and went to “Settings>System>Input>Peripherals” and boom it crashed. Odly but when Kodi restarted it was back on OSMC skin. Then immediately i tried to upload the log and it crashed again. Second time upload was succesfull though.
I don’t understand why it has a highest chance to crash while going to this specific place (Settings>System>Input>Peripherals). Very weird.
Don’t think so, because had crashes with OSMC skin too. The problem occurs when you begin switching between skins.
Update: Did a clean install of OSMC (2024.08-1) the problem persisted.
But then downgraded to 2024.05-1 and i can’t reproduce the problem anymore. At least at moment.
