I don’t know about UI sounds, but I have a projector I can test HDR10 vs HDR10+ issue with.

You already had the time to experiment with that HDR10/+ issue?
Regarding UI sounds: doesnt seem to be a plugin, at least disabling them doesnt solve it 
After every reboot I need to start TV, then once I close the TV stream, UI sounds are back. Doesnt help to start a movie, allthough the sound of it is played back normally, once movie was stopped, UI sounds are gine again 
I can check.
Can you send me a video sample that we can both check? I’d rather do this than test other HDR10+ content to rule out a content issue

Sorry, I’ve misunderstood the issue. If I understand correctly: you experience freezes with HDR10+ content.
I was going to test that adjusting the HDR setting allows you to fall back to just HDR10 but as @grahamh says that won’t make the intended effect.
I think it would still be useful to share a common clip so we can test it here and see if we can reproduce the problems you are experiencing (freezing).

Finally found a way to fallback to HDR10 only with EDID adjustment on the projector.
Just had again a freeze while watching Joker 2 with HDR10+, now switched to HDR10 only and will report after consuming some more hours
