I’m not sure what happened but my Vero V remote just stopped working. I think I was on the October build and I had to hard power off the box as it had become frozen during playback of a media file. After the power cycle the remote just didn’t work and I have not been able to get it to work. I tried changing the remote battery and holding the home and Ok button to try to repair the remote. I went away for a couple days and the new march update must have released and I updated thinking maybe the update might fix my remote. Still no remote after the update. I read a few other posts and I do have a usb adapter plugged in that only works on the usb 2 port.

Hi @sam_nazarko one of my two Vero Vs is experiencing the same issue after the March upgrade. The remote is fine (blue LED) but not being recognised by the V. I cannot repair with home-OK
My other (brand new this week) one is fine. Just to flag Jason’s issue may not be unique.
OP is reporting the issue to have occurred before updating, so I doubt it is an issue with the update, particularly if you have updated both devices.

Hi guys. I’m bizarrely having the same issue now. It was working fine after the update last night and all through this morning/afternoon whilst I was making logs to test the Dolby Vision features.
I have the same problem. Try to pair again (home + Ok) but the remote still doesn’t work.
I also checked on the myOSMC /Network and the Bluetooth was off, the activation doesn’t help.
Before the update, no problem.
Were you on the latest version before updating?
I was using the October release too.

My advice remains the same, contact support.
Something is up as my first Vero V (Sept 2023 order) did the same last week and I meant to reply here sooner.
The remote worked to wake the device, but then nothing.
I think it was before the latest update was applied. My reason for waking it up that evening was to apply the update that I’d already applied to my other (April 2024 order) Vero V.
I had to use CEC to run the update through, but the Vero remote still didn’t work after rebooting.
Blue light is working on the remote.

Still not working and just noticed the OSMC RF Remote is missing from the Input section.
Has that removed itself due to a hardware failure or is there a way to add that back in again?
I don’t know from that screenshot. Some logs would be good as if it appeared before it should appear again…
But as you contacted support it can be picked up from there.
