Might be just a coincidence but happened right after switching user profile in Kodi. Kodi froze, as it often does when switching user profile, and after a cold reboot the remote no longer worked.
Initially I thought it’s Kodi not responding but it worked just fine with a mouse, which is how I was able to upload the logs.
After reading similar topics - putting a new battery in the remote didn’t help, and the blue LED flashes when pressing buttons. Nothing is plugged into the external USB ports.
Any help is appreciated.

Regarding profiles: Kodi support isn’t great. The are a legacy of the original Xbox days and there have been discussions to remove support for it entirely and possibly reimplement in the future. We have fixed a few bugs but it is far from perfect.

Yes, I have noticed the Kodi profiles support isn’t great, particularly when switching between them. It’s a shame because it seems to be the best way to keep content for kids separate from everything else.
