At least we can collect some debug information; perhaps, we find something which explains the behaviour:

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • enable component-specific logging especially the libCEC library

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue (so let it run over night and power off/power on the VeroV in case you cannot access the device even using ssh the next day)

  • a note would be helpful regarding when you last used the Vero (time+date) and it was still responsive

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

  • ssh into the VeroV (default login osmc, password osmc) an run the command

    paste-log /home/osmc/.kodi/userdata/peripheral_data/cec_CEC_Adapter.xml

  • also publish the returned URL here

In case the box crashed or died somehow, we should be able to look at the last activities of the mediacenter in the previous kodi log to get a first idea.
