Vero4k for Zigbee cordinator

Hello,
I’m using a Vero4k as my main OSMC device.
I’d like to build my Zigbee home network and I wondered if, by plugging an USB dedicated module (and of course installing some software), it could work also as a Zigbee coordinator for Home Assistant.
The main concern is in terms of h/w resources.

Thanks

I don’t know enough about Zigbee to advise. My understanding is that it is a low throughput protocol, so I can’t imagine it being burdening on the Vero.

I’m using one of my old vero4ks to run home assistant, and have a zigbee card plugged in (using a hub). It seems to work. (I’ve only got 1 zigbee device, my IOT is mostly a mix of zwave and direct ip connections)

In my case, however, I needed up update the OS on the vero to get the latest docker that the matter server requires. It works, but keep in mind whenever you do a docker pull, you will want to also prune out the old docker images because there’s not much disk space on the device.
