Hello,
today I checked the vero4k for updates using the osmc menu. This showed no updates. Then I tried the dist-upgrade via ssh and there are at least 20 system updates for debian buster.
Wondering whether this behaviour is on purpose.
Yes it is on purpose as following Debian updates 1:1 would bring up the update screen on a daily base. The idea is Debian packets will be updates when a new OSMC update is released to avoid customers being disturbed too often.
If there are any security important Debian updates normally a OSMC update would be triggered.
