Hey all and a merry Christmas!
I recently upgraded from a Vero4k+ to a vero5 and have noticed that when browsing around in menus the “click” sound sometimes isn’t clean - it either pops or crackles… usually if I’m doing lots of clicks at once eg scrolling though a list.
Set up is vero5 - denon 4500h avr - TV with the avr pushing sound to speakers.
Sound is totally fine for films/YouTube etc so just wondering if it’s a vero5 UI issue? (Running confluence)
Would provide logs but unsure of what log to provide as nothing technically seems to be wrong?
Thanks in advance!
Hi, a standard log set is the first step to take I suggest.
The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
-
reproduce the issue
-
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh
method invoking command grab-logs -A
-
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Please, also describe what remote control you’re using and a video with sound demonstrating what you experience with your evironment would be a wonderful help for us.

Enable keep audio alive and it should solve this
