Vertical Sinc GPIO output to trigger 3D infra-red shutter active Glass using digital projector

I need to sincronize the active 3d shutter glasses with the digital projector. The ideia is to use GPIO output to sinc the glasses and change the right and left eyes with Kodi and OMX player

What projector do you have?
Most of them will give a sync signal automatically if you have the right googles.
