Video Freezing when moving between menus, rpi 2

Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing the annoying freeze of the playing video, when moving between menus.
I didn’t experience this issue in the last version of osmc, but did with raspbmc on rpi b.
Not sure if its a bug, but can upload logs if they’re any help.

Also a couple of times while watching live tv with wmcpvr the video has completely froze with audio continuing, have to restart channel to fix it.

No crashes so not sure if logs are going to be useful.

Does enabling omxplayer in video/acceleration settings help?

Yes enabling omxplayer resolves the issue with freezing between menu changes.
