Video-signal issues when playback with projector

Hi there,
I cant figure out how to solve this problem, maybe you can help me. The Vero is connected to a projector (1080p, 24hz) via HDMI. When a Video starts/stops, the signal is lost for a moment (blank screen, “looking for input source”). I am not 100% sure, but afair it started with Krypton. What I found and tried out:

  • Neither changes in “Adjust display refresh rate to match video” nor “Sync playback to display” helps
  • Audio output is passed through HDMI
  • Deactivating hardware acceleration solves the issue, but surely the videos are unwatchable
  • Both, “Render Method” in video settings and “Display Mode” in display settings are greyed out and set to “auto” and “windowed”
Here is a part of the log, I hope it helps to identify the problem and find the solution:

It’s normal for the signal to be lost for a couple of seconds while the refresh rate is adjusted. This happens on TVs and projectors and isn’t unique to the Vero 4K. I experience this on an Optoma HD25.

Turning off Adjust Refresh Rate would resolve this; but wouldn’t playback wouldn’t look as smooth. You could enable Sync Playback to Display, but you’d lose passthrough support.

You might be able to set the GUI to 1080p24hz, which would reduce the impact of switching (at least for 23.976 content).
