Has anyone else encountered a problem like this? You start a video and it plays for a split second then kodi is locked up? No audio, video frozen. It happens to me often enough that I bound a remote control key to sudo mediacenter restart. After kodi restart, video plays fine. So it’s not a huge deal, just a bit annoying.
OMXPlayer & MMAL Acceleration are enabled.

Does this happen on all files? Do you notice any commonalities
When did this first start happening?
The only reason I doubt it has anything to do with the file is that as soon as Kodi restarted, it played fine. This happens every day or two, I’ve never noticed any commonalities between the ones effected, but being that they played fine after Kodi restart, I’d already ruled that out in my head and blamed Kodi. It’s been happening for the past couple months.

I didn’t have passthrough enabled, so AC3 transcoding was ticked, but greyed out. I enabled passthrough long enough to untick everything under it, just in case.
This from your log shows that the ac3trascode was having an effect.
