Or is there a way to side load it somehow.
Volumio is a distrobution of its own the only way to “sideload” it is to partition the sd card and add it might have to add berryboot too.
Might wanna brush up whats possible and not possible 
have more of chance includuing Squeezebox or Madsonic then Volumio.
Btw there are guides for those here on the forum incase you know what that is.
