Is there a way to install a VPN client or Open VPN on OSMC AppleTV?
I have seen some tutorials for Rasberry, not sure if it will work on ATV.
I need to connect OSMC with a Synology NAS located some other city. Synology is running OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec servers.
Should be the same.
You can install OpenVPN and configure it for connecting to an OpenVPN remote peer. Or install ipsec-tools, or strongswan plus l2tpd or xl2tpd to connect to a IPSec+L2TP remote peer. I’d avoid PPTP unless security/privacy is not a concern in your case.
