VPN problem, no longer working

Hello, i am running OSMC alpha 4 on rpi2, prior to the weekend i had configured VPNicity and it was working perfectly, i have since tried after the weekend and now it no longer works, i have tested the out the VPN on a raspberry pi b+ and it still works perfectly, has there been an update that may stop the VPN from working? any help would be hugely appreciated!

Have you done any updates?

I have tried manually updating through the options menu, manually searching for them and installing available updates now, but nothing appeared to suggest any had actually taken place.
