Just reinstalled to latest osmc and is streaming videos from file browser (not using library).
Can’t get kodi to remember what I have watched, or resume playback where I stopped playing. Worked just fine on my previous install, also it works in the windows-app.
Could I be doing something wrong, or doesnt it work on osmc now?
It won’t remember if you don’t add the file folder as a source. Videos->Files works. File Manager-> won’t work. That’s what the Library is for.
Ah, that is right, I’ve added file as source. But not using the library funcion, I ment to say.
However, it works fine from a windows network source, but not from a https source. Both are added the same way, as video source.
If I hit “mark as watched” on a file form https source, it gets marked, but mark is gone when I re-enter the directory. It does remember “resume point” sometimes.
We believe this is a Kodi issue or a specific Kodi function and as such you should look at addressing the issue there. We are unable to resolve your issue. If you do believe that this is an OSMC specific issue, please let us know.
