This just started for me yesterday. Some personal files play slow with audio out of sync. Previous files watched just fine have the same issue.
One video file had a black screen but played audio before video kicking in after 5 seconds or so.
One file had a colorful garbled screen, but played audio, then snapped into normal about 5 seconds later. If I rewound to the start, the file played fine.
Many other files play just fine.
I only have one idea.
My wife cycled the power strip without realizing the Vero 4K was not shutdown a couple days before this. I got the āPlease Stand Byā screen again, but after another power cycle, itās been booting ever since.
Does it make any kind of sense for some kind of power fluctuation to somehow damage the Vero 4Kās ability to play certain files correctly?
Not really.
The fact that you say āpersonal fileā is interesting. Maybe itās a format we arenāt handling too well. Can you upload a log so we can look in to it further?
Sam
By personal file, I just mean rips of media I have or some YouTube videos I wanted to save. The main MKV file played just fine a while back. Itās just slow now all of a sudden and out of sync. Even after updating the system with the final update.
Hereās the log

Understood. As the files arenāt personal ie family members etc, is there a chance you can share an affected file with us?
Sam
Is there nothing in the log file to indicate why the MKV that played fine before, now has these issues?
From my log, you could see that the files are my personal rips of media I own, but if you need the specific file for testing purposes, Iām willing to upload it. Just let me know how.
I can see the issueā¦
Then we have logs from Seren (an add-on we cannot support).
The constant UI activity from this add-on seems to be causing your performance issues.
My suggestion would be to start your device fresh.
