My Bluray player died and I want to watch a old show that is encoded in VC1. I have a lot of Raspberry PI’s laying around that I paid for the mpeg2 and VC1 licenses for and just need to know what version of OSMC to throw on a memory card to be able to watch that old codec.
The licenses should work with the current builds. The hardware support was initially broken with the Kodi 19 release (?) but support for it was added back quite some time back now for the older RPi’s that can actually use them.
Wow thank you, I didn’t know that as I had stopped keeping up with OSMC after the breakage.
