What router model are you using with the Vero4K and what are the largest overall bitrate file you can playback smoothly on it?
via [internal/external wifi adapter]
[House/Apartment/Terraced house etc…]
Personally, I’m unable to playback high bitrate movies such as 4K content like John Wick or just La La Land… so I’m trying to figure out if others are having success with high bitrate films over wifi and in what environment. I sincerely appreciate the replies.
Title: Contraband (2012) (1080p)
Overall bitrate: 35.8 Mbit/s
via internal antenna
Title: John Wick 2 UHD remux
Total Bitrate: 90.28 Mbps
via wired LAN and gigabit USB adapter
I’ve yet to come across a UHD remux that I can’t play smoothly, for me the key is wired LAN and a gigabit usb adapter. Oh and nfs rather than smb seems to perform a bit better.
I can’t comment on wireless although in theory it should be fine.
Router: Unifi AP AC LR (technically an access point)

Which adapter are you using? I’m thinking about just RJ45-wiring it up for now and dealing with the wifi issue on a continuing basis.
