If your remote has volume buttons, we can send you a new receiver free of charge
Unfortunately we no longer produce dongles for the older remote with FF/RW buttons.

When did the new remotes come out?
I only ask because my Vero4K+, purchased Nov. 2018 has the same remote as my Vero4K from Apr. 2018.
Just got home…and I see that my remote does have volume buttons.
January 2018-ish, but we shipped new ones just before then before making an announcement.
If you open a support request with your order number and address we can send you a new receiver.
Thanks Sam
Support request has been submitted.
To answer you earlier question concerning the log…the USB RF Receiver was connected at the time the logs were generated and before.
Thanks for the replacement USB receiver Sam.
It worked perfectly for 2 months…but today it stopped working again.
It is not overheating, or even near other components. There have been no power surges either.
Other connections are HDMI, IR receiver, USB Ethernet 1GB dongle.
…it is strange, because this time the receiver is detected by Win7 and Win10.

Have you checked the battery? Did you try to re-pair?
Sounds like a dead battery to me
1st thing I tried was another battery.
To re-pair, I hold down Home and OK …?
Solved! Tried a 3rd battery, and all is good.
Battery was at 2.0 VDC…
Generally, the remote will stop working at 2.7V.
Glad this is solved
Cheers
Sam
