Which version of NFS do you recommend using?

V3 should be just fine. Is there a reason why you are asking?
No, no special reason, I’m just curious.
The big thing V4 brings is security. But on a home network that shouldn’t matter. There is a small performance increase without security on V4, but that really should not matter for streaming.
