White screen when playing DV HDR10+ HEVC file on Vero V

Hi,

I’m seeing a playback issue with a specific 4K HEVC file. When I start playback, the video only displays a white screen.

Device / software:

  • OSMC Vero V
  • OSMC 2026.05-1
  • Kodi 21.3
  • Kernel: 4.9.269-93-osmc

File:
The Boys (2019) - S05E01 - Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite [AMZN][WEBDL-2160p][EAC3 Atmos 5.1][DV HDR10Plus][h265]-FLUX.mkv

MediaInfo highlights:

  • Container: Matroska
  • Video: HEVC Main 10@L5@Main
  • Resolution: 3840x1600
  • Frame rate: 23.976 fps
  • HDR: Dolby Vision Profile 8.1, BL+RPU, HDR10 compatible
  • HDR10+: SMPTE ST 2094 App 4, HDR10+ Profile B
  • Audio: E-AC-3 JOC, Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos, 5.1
  • File size: 6.41 GiB

Symptom:

  • On playback, the screen turns white instead of showing the video.
  • The issue appears related to this DV/HDR10+ HEVC encode.

Please let me know if you need a sample clip or any additional logs/settings.

Feel like some of your reply is cut off, but I think I get the gist
EDIT: Just see that I can fold out your reply and see the full format post (that is a weird styling choice for a forum  )

Just tested and indeed it works now
