Can anyone help, is there no progress on allowing 4k?
Have you installed and configured InputStream Adaptive settings ? And made sure you have the latest version of the youtube addon installed ?

Latest version, I haven’t changed any settings since I had 1080p working on the last version. V4k

See the thread ooZee linked and configure the InputStream Adaptive settings appropriately. I myself didn’t know UHD had been made possible in the meantime, so I enabled the respective settings and that was it.
(inb4 boo how can you still use Confluence on Kodi 18)

Many thanks this is now working. Have you managed to get 5.1 working, is this possible?
Scratch that. 5.1 works it just seems most youtube vids are 2.0.
