Hello, today I updated my Vero2 via OSMC with the march update.
I can navigate through my library and menus, but when I start any kind of video (HD or SD) the player stucks with the two blue circles rotating and the video doesn’t start.
I have to unplug the Vero2 because it becomes irresponsive.
I uploaded two logs: http://paste.osmc.tv/yosogehele http://paste.osmc.tv/sonufovugu
I can see some errors in the first one, for example:
I have a centralized database for Kodi in my server and it always worked fine until today.
When I try to play a video from my PC with Kodi for Windows, it plays well.
Could someone help me, please?
Thank you very much
I tried other files on NAS, same problem.
I tried now an .mkv file from a USB drive (Succession.2x03) and it can’t be played too. http://paste.osmc.tv/ikeretepoq
What could it be?
My Vero2 plays content (MKV video files and FLAC music files) from an SMB share from a Synology NAS. All working fine until today.
Now (after the update) I can still browse around the SMB folders, but when I select a file to play (video or music), the Vero2 GUI shows an animated icon that reminds me of the Windows egg timer, then after maybe 20 seconds, it returns to the list of files without playing anything.
The Synology OS has not been patched since November - and it still serves content happily to other SMB clients e.g. using VLC. I tried rebooting the Synology and the Vero2, but that didn’t help!
Hopefully your fix for rodrisco will fix my problem as well?
Hi I have the same issue too after upgrading to the latest March update, I have the 1st gen Vero:
