Black screen Sad face loop after update

Hi!

As described in the topic title my RPi loops between black screen and sad face. Uncertain which update, probably february.

Tried to force the creation of a new user by moving the ./kodi folder to backup. No change.

Inexperienced user, grateful for any kind of help to resolve this issue.

Are you sure you moved your .kodi folder to start clean?
If that is the case than my recommendation would be a new install on a new SD Card

Yeah, I’m certain I moved it. Tried it several times. Stop, move, start as given in https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/kodi-krypton-faq-and-support/21878 for example.
