I’m also following lots of posts around about this issue and till today this update fixed most issues for people having issues…On your fix on this thread from may 27 did you use the commit I mentioned in the post above?

Hi Sam…not sure what you mean by that quote “it was a specific OSMC bug” pls read my post again…I m not blaming OSMC for a cec issue and I understand that pulse8 are working to find a common fix for everyone

It’s a quote from you. But it was originally misread :slight_smile:

When there are further improvements, they will be included in OSMC. It’s not an OSMC issue. We have done our best to mitigate this downstream.

One thing I just noticed:

I can restore remote functionality if I can get a stream playing.

I connected a keyboard to my Pi and if go into my Eurosport plugin and start watching, the TV remote immediately becomes responsive.

Maybe there’s a log somewhere I can attach that would shed light on this?

is anybody still working on this issue?

I have the problem also with the newest update

CEC works fine for. But if I turning tv off and on I have to reconnect CEC everytime!
