Crash Playing 4K Movie

I get a repeatable crash to  playing this file in OSMC. Plays fine with MPV on my Mac. (Though maybe it’s using a different stream?)

Logs are too big to upload to paste.osmc.io so I compressed them and put them in a 9MB zip on my own URL.

Here’s the tail of that log:

No big deal as I can do a 10-second skip past it to play the rest of the video just fine but I figured I should report it. I had a similar issue on another file recently so if I can remember where in the movie that occurred I might be able to pull another example if that’s needed. Thanks

A post was merged into an existing topic: Log Upload gets Stuck at ‘Retrieving System’

Opps, sorry @nickv2002 I was being single minded there, thinking about the log upload problem and not the other issue you were reporting.

I’ve opened this thread back up for you. Sorry about the mistake.

It seems to be choking on TrueHD. Will it play OK if you select the DTS track?

Good call @grahamh
I just tried playing the DTS and DD tracks that were also included in that file and they play fine on Kodi.

FWIW the TrueHD stream seems to play fine in MPV/IINA on my Mac (it converts it down to DTS or DD to output via Optical).
