rtorrent & rutorrent works great on my Pi, follow these instructions:

[HowTo] rtorrent instead of transmission (rewritten and tested) HowTo

try this: wget -O rtorrent_install.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Kerwood/Rtorrent-Auto-Install/master/Rtorrent-Auto-Install-4.0.0-Debian-Jessie chmod +x rtorrent_install.sh ./rtorrent_install.sh
