Downsides to install Plex server in OSMC with Kodi?

Hello, I’m considering installing Plex Server on my Pi3, that is actually running OSMC (I plan to use this guide: [HOW-TO] Install Plex Media Server Raspberry Pi - #22 by EsotericMrE). I would like to access my video library when I am travelling.

My idea is to point the Plex Server library to the same directories I am using as library locations for Kodi.

Is there any downside in doing this?

Not that I can think of. If it causes problems you can uninstall it
