Help with stuttering video

Hi All

I hope someone can offer guidance as to how I can run or get a log for someone who knows what they are doing to look at. over the past week, i’ve changed my broadband provider at home to BT and received their home hub 5. this led me to wipe and reinstall OSMC on my pi 2. Since this change, i have had really terrible stutters video performance - most of my files are on a NAS and are m2ts files extracted from blu rays. these always played perfectly prior to me changing anything.

Can someone please help me figure this out? what steps do i follow to get a log or debug that I see people talking about?

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. Please see How to submit a useful support request - General - OSMC for advice on how to help us.

Thanks ActionA

If its worked correctly my kodi log is: http://paste.osmc.io/apalidihaf

The log for the video i was trying is: http://paste.osmc.io/haziyeyine.coffee

Like i said, the hardware in terms of the gas drive and the pi are the same. This file (and others similar) played fine previously prior to updates and my altering my broadband router and having to change my default IP for the gas drive to tie in with the new routers defaults…

I can provide more logs for other files if you feel it would help?

For me all this sounds like network issues, so my suggestion is first to check network connectivity with iperf.
You can install iperf on OSMC with sudo apt-get install iperf3 you than would need to install on the NAS you connect to or if that is not available on your PC.

Also as you access via NFS check

Did you installed the license keys for video decoding in config. txt?

He is not trying to play an MPEG2 video, so licence key would not help
