IPTV crashing - Kodi v21 - Vero V

Hi,

I’m trying to get iPlayer running on my Vero V and I read that Kodi needs an update. So I followed these instructions:

That went fine, but I still couldn’t get iPlayer working, so I decided to give my IPTV channels a shot, and all of them result in a sad face on the screen. I’ve checked my Kodi log file, but it looks like it’s just being overwritten every time the device reboots, so I can’t actually see the error anywhere.

I’m using IPTV Simple Client.

I’d quite like to either downgrade to my previous build, or figure out a fix, if anyone has any ideas?

Hi,

Your log shows Kodi loading OK. It only seems to crash when you play one of the IPTV URLs.

You could remove the IPTV configuration via SSH if you believe that’s the issue. It should be somewhere under /home/osmc/.kodi/userdata.

I wiped everything and went back to v20. It’s all working fine again now.
